MLA Maria Fitzpatrick, Lethbridge-East


Lord we bring MLA Maria Fitzpatrick to you and we ask Holy Spirit that you will lead and guide her with the wisdom from the throne room of Heaven as she continues her position as Chair of the Standing Committee on Privileges and Elections, Member of Standing Order and Printing, Member of the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future. Give her the strategies regarding Alberta’s Economic Future.  Bless Maria Fitzpatrick and her three children. Also bless Alberta and all Albertans in Jesus name, Amen.

Maria Fitzpatrick was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Lethbridge-East, on May 5, 2015.

Born and educated in Newfoundland, she attended Memorial University in St. John's, Newfoundland, between 1966 and 1972 and received a diploma in education from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia in 1988.

Ms. Fitzpatrick is a well-known proponent of an active lifestyle. She was named St. John's female athlete of the year in 1969 and over the years has coached a number of track and field teams in several jurisdictions.

A resident of Lethbridge, she has called Alberta home for close to 20 years. She has three children.

MLA Derek Fildebrandt, Strathmore-Brooks

Today we lift up Derek Fildebrandt to Your throne.  Thank you for his gifts and abilities to serve the people of AB.  Grant him  wisdom this season in all decisions he makes.  Bless his family and those close to him , Amen.

Derek Fildebrandt was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Strathmore-Brooks, on May 5, 2015. He currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts. Mr. Fildebrandt previously served as chair of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts and member of the Special Standing Committee on Members’ Services.   Born and educated in Ontario, Mr. Fildebrandt received his bachelor of arts, history and political science from Carleton University. Mr. Fildebrandt enjoys a number of outdoor activities such as fishing, sport shooting and canoeing.

Today we thank You Jesus for the privilege of lifting up Honourable Richard Feehan to You. We thank You that he has a heart that cares about people and their well being. Give him ears to hear that which You want him to hear, eyes to see that which You want him to see and the thoughts to know all that You would want him to know. Help Him to lighten the load of responsibility he carries - Surround him with people that will help to do this in an integral way. We declare Your blessing and protection over the Honourable Richard Feehan, his wife and their marriage today in Jesus name. 

Richard Feehan was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Edmonton-Rutherford, on May 5, 2015. On February 2, 2016, Mr. Feehan was appointed Minister of Indigenous Relations. Born and raised in Edmonton, he lives on Edmonton's south side with his wife, Kathaleen.
