MLA Drew Barnes, Cypress-Medicine Hat


Thank you Lord for leaders who invest in the communities they serve emotionally, financially and with their time and energy.  We know that a deep commitment results in more focused and prudent leadership.  We pray today for MLA Drew Barnes and as we do we ask that you would honour his commitment to his community and that You would help him as he gives himself to public service. Grant him discernment, wisdom and strength as he serves the people you have entrusted him with.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen 

Drew Barnes was elected to his second term as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Cypress-Medicine Hat on May 5, 2015.

He currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts.  In his spare time Drew enjoys playing and coaching many sports, including golf, hockey, baseball and soccer, and watching his sons play football.

MLA Erin Babcock, Stony Plain


Gracious Father we bring before you MLA Erin Babcock.  We thank you for her leadership in Stony Plain.  We thank you for her commitment to the health and welfare of those in her community.  Father we ask that you continue to reveal your truth to her, give her discernment in matters that require wisdom and fortitude.  And most of all, Lord Jesus, we ask that your peace, which passes understanding will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.  Amen.

Erin Babcock was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Stony Plain on May 5, 2015.  She currently serves as the deputy chair of the Standing Committee on Privileges and Elections, Standing Orders and Printing, as a member of the Standing Committee on Private Bills and as a member of the Standing Committee on Resource Stewardship.  Ms. Babcock is an active community volunteer and leader, having previously served on the board of directors for the Special Olympics in Kindersley, Saskatchewan.

Hon Shaye Anderson, Leduc-Beaumont


Thank you for Shayne Anderson and as he serves Leduc and Beaumont give him favor.  As he serves as the Minister of Municipal Affairs may he be given wisdom, revelation, understanding, and everything he needs at this time to rule.  Give him favor with his wife Kelly and his two sons.  Let him enjoy the times that he spends coaching sports and give him favor with the leaders of the NDP party, and all others in the government.

Shaye Anderson was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for Leduc-Beaumont on May 5, 2015. On January 19, 2017 he was sworn in as Minister of Municipal Affairs. He and his wife, Kelly, have two sons, Declan and Maddoc.
