MLA David Schneider, Little Bow


Our Father in Heaven, today we pause to pray for David Schneider.  Thank you for the gifts, abilities and talents that you have given him.  Thank you for his years of service and sacrifice on behalf of his constituents and the people of Alberta.  We ask that You would be near him today and that he would sense your love, presence and strength in every part of his life.  Grant him insights that will help him address the needs that confront him today.  Bless his life we pray.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen 

David Schneider was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Little Bow on May 5, 2015.  He currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future.  He and his wife, Sharon, reside on a farm south of Vulcan. Their daughter, Kristin, took her secondary education in Lethbridge and she is an office manager in the city.

Hon Marlin Schmidt, Edmonton-Gold Bar

Father we ask that you give Marlin Schmidt wisdom and the strategies from Heaven’s perspective has he fulfils his position on the committees he is on. We ask that you grant favour and blessing on Marlin Schmidt’s personal life and to those he comes in contact with. May he be a light in his own community and an outstanding citizen. Bless all of Alberta and Albertans in Jesus name, Amen. 

Marlin Schmidt was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, on May 5, 2015. He represents the constituency of Edmonton-Gold Bar. Since February 2, 2016, Hon. Schmidt has also served as Minister of Advanced Education. Hon. Schmidt sits on three Government committees: the Legislative Review Committee, the Social Policy Committee and the Climate Leadership Policy Committee.

Hon Irfan Sabir, Calgary-McCall


Father in heaven, today we thank you for the Honourable Irfan Sabir and we thank you for his desire to serve the people of Alberta. We ask today that You would give him your eyes to see and ears to hear what You would have for the people that are influenced by the Ministry of Community and Social Services. Help Minister Sabir to make wise decisions and give him the ability to rest in the midst of his responsibilities. We speak Your peace over him today.

Irfan Sabir was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Calgary-McCall, on May 5, 2015. Since May 24, 2015 he had served as Minister of Human Services, and on January 19, 2017 he was sworn in as Minister of Community and Social Services. Born in Rawalakot, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan, he has called Calgary home since 2004.
