MLA Hon. Joe Ceci, Calgary - Fort

We lift up the Honourable Joe Ceci to you today Lord. Surround him with those that not only have good intentions, but righteous intentions for the well being of the citizens of Alberta. We declare Your supernatural peace to rule where pressure would want to rob him.  Grant him opportunities to rest and be refreshed. We thank You for your protection upon Hon. Joe Ceci, his marriage and family.

MLA Jon Carson, Edmonton - Meadowlark

Lord our God and Father I thank you for Jon and his commitment to serve in the Alberta Legislature as an MLA.  I pray a covering of peace and protection over him and his family and friends. As we all know, serving in any public capacity comes with pressures and duties that are unique and weighty.  I pray for divine wisdom for Jon. Political leaders are regularly called upon to make very difficult decisions that affect many people. Divine wisdom is available for those who ask God for it (James 1:5). Good decisions will seldom be made without God’s wisdom (Psalm 111:10).  As I pray today and ask the Lord for insight, I also feel compelled to encourage Jon that as he goes about his duties he does so with confidence and equally with compassion.  There are so many people we meet everyday that are hurting and have such damaged lives. I pray that Jon in his role as a leader and representative would be attentive to the needs of those he represents. Amen.

Jon Carson was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Edmonton-Meadowlark, on May 5, 2015.
Carson currently serves on the Standing Committee on Alberta's Economic Future and the Standing Committee on Privileges and Elections, Standing Orders and Printing.
Carson attended postsecondary studies at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, first attaining a diploma in radio and television broadcasting, then later returning for an electrical apprenticeship.
Prior to the election Carson was employed as an electrician.
