in Heaven, we pray today that You would bless Tany Yao today. Thank you
for his serving and compassionate heart. Use his gifts today to be a
blessing to those around him and to those he serves. We ask this in
Jesus’ name, Amen!
On May 5, 2015, Tany Yao was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta as the representative for the constituency of Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo, his home since 1977. He serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Families and Communities, and is the Official Opposition's shadow minister for Health. Prior to serving with the Legislative Assembly, Mr. Yao dedicated 20 years to emergency response services, filling a variety of roles throughout his lengthy career. Over the years he has volunteered his time in support of various non-profit and charitable organizations.
