Father God we thank you daily
for a man like Joe Ceci who has chosen to give his commitment to service the
people of Calgary-Fort. He has a responsibility to the Ministry of Finance of this
region, we ask you for divine wisdom and knowledge as he serves and controls the
funding for this area. Bless him and his family, both personal
and professional life. In your Son's name, amen.
Joe Ceci was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Calgary-Fort, on May 5, 2015. He was appointed to serve as President of Treasury Board and Minister of Finance on May 24, 2015. Prior to serving with the Legislative Assembly, Mr. Ceci worked as a public policy manager with a community-based charitable organization in Calgary. Previous to this, he served as a city of Calgary alderman for 15 years. From 1988 to 1995 he worked as a community social worker with the city of Calgary, and from 1981 to 1987 he provided family counselling services for a number of organizations. He and his wife, Christine, call Calgary home.
