Hon Kathleen Ganley, Calgary-Buffalo

Dear Heavenly Father, today, we lift up the Honourable Kathleen Ganley in prayer. We ask that you would bless her in her service as the MLA for Calgary-Buffalo as well as the Minister of Justice and Solicitor General. We know that you, Lord, delight in justice. Psalm 89:14 tells us that, “righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne…” (NIV). As such, it is my prayer that you would guide Miss Ganley, as she advises in legal matters, so that there would be true justice in our province. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Kathleen Ganley was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Calgary-Buffalo, on May 5, 2015. She currently serves as Minister of Justice and Solicitor General. On November 27, 2017, Ms. Ganley was named Deputy Government House Leader.
Prior to serving with the Legislative Assembly, Ms. Ganley worked with a private law firm as an associate, specializing in labour, employment and human rights law. Previous to this, she articled with the Provincial Court of Alberta from June 2011 to March 2012.  Along with a juris doctor degree from the University of Calgary, she also holds a bachelor of arts in philosophy and a bachelor of science in psychology.
