MLA David Swann, Calgary-Mountain View

Lord, for Dr. David Swann we ask for grace and wisdom to be poured out as he manages his many and varied tasks and roles. Thank you for his heart for justice and peace, and for how that reflects your own heart. May he and his family thrive, and may his hard work bear good fruit. Give him strength to bear up under the load, patience and good cheer in the face of obstacles, and joy in serving always. In Christ’s name we pray, Amen.

David Swann was elected to his fourth term as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the constituency of Calgary-Mountain View on May 5, 2015. From December 15, 2008 to September 12, 2011, Dr. Swann served as leader of the Alberta Liberal caucus, Her Majesty’s Official Opposition.  Dr. Swann and his wife, Laureen, have three children. During his free time he enjoys peace and justice work, music and singing, jogging, woodworking and writing.

MLA Graham Sucha, Calgary Shaw

Lord we thank you for Graham Sucha as he serves Calgary Shaw. Thank you for wisdom and favor to be present in his life as he serves as chair for the standing committee for Alberta’s Economic Future and as the MLA for his riding.  Also Lord as he serves on various Government committees give him everything He needs for this season.  May he serve the interests of all Albertans and use his background to better serve everyone.

Graham Sucha was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Calgary-Shaw, on May 5, 2015. He currently serves as chair of the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future and is a member of the Standing Committee on Private Bills. A second generation Calgarian growing up in Marlborough Park Graham is proud of his family heritage that has roots in Great Britain and Slovakia. A father of three he currently resides in the community of Midnapore.

MLA Rick Strankman, Drumheller-Stettler

We thank you Lord for Rick Strankman and we ask that you give him Wisdom and Strategies from the courtroom of Heaven. May you be with him as he fulfills his position as a Member of Standing Committee on Private Bills. We ask that you grant Rick Strankman, his wife Dianne, and their two grown children favour and blessing in all that they do. Bless Alberta and all Albertans in Jesus name, Amen. 

Rick Strankman was elected to his second term as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the constituency of Drumheller-Stettler on May 5, 2015.  Mr. Strankman also has a keen interest in aviation and has held a pilot’s license and done aerial application since 1974. He and his wife Dianne live in Altario and have two grown children.
