MLA Anam Kazim, Calgary-Glenmore

Lord, thank you so much for MLA Anam Kazim. Thank you for her intelligence and education that has enabled her to become a leader in our government. Grant her wisdom and discernment in regards to the stewardship of our resources. Watch over her as she travels and immerses herself in different cultures, keep her safe and help her to feel your presence, in Jesus name, amen. 

Anam Kazim was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Calgary-Glenmore, on May 5, 2015. She currently serves as chair of the Standing Committee on Private Bills and as a member of the standing committees on Resource Stewardship and Privileges and Elections, Standing Orders and Printing.  Ms. Kazim holds a master's degree in biochemical/environmental engineering, a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and is certified in conflict resolution. While a student, she was involved in the investment club and the chemical engineering club. Ms. Kazim is also certified in Six Sigma Green Belt and in Lean Management. As well, she has donated her time to fundraising for the Canadian Cancer Society and mentoring for Engineers Canada as part of its women in engineering program.
