Father we lift up MLA Pat Steir to You today. Thank you for the abilities and gifts given to him as he serves his riding of Livingstone- McLeod. Bless him and his family this summer season with rest and restoration of body soul and spirit. Thank You for hearing our prayers Jesus, Amen.

Pat Stier was elected to his second term as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Livingstone-Macleod on May 5, 2015. During his first term he served as Chief Opposition Whip.

He currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Private Bills and was previously a member of the Standing Committee on Resource Stewardship.

MLA Dr. Richard Starke, Vermillion-LLoydminster

God thank you for Dr Richard Starke and his many years of political service from a young age.  We honour his dedication to the political field and pray your blessing would rest on him and his family today. May they enjoy a restful summer together with meaningful connections. We ask these requests in Jesus Name, Amen. 

Richard Starke was elected to his second term as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Vermilion-Lloydminster on May 5, 2015. He currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future. Dr. Starke lives north of Lloydminster with his wife, Alison and two annoyingly affectionate cats.

Heavenly Father, we pray for Mark Smith today. Thank you for his passion to serve you and the people of Alberta. We ask that Your gracious and merciful hand would rest upon him as he gives himself to the work that You have have prepared for him today. May he experience Your presence, goodness, kindness and help throughout this day. Your blessing beyond his wife and children and those who surround him and support him in this unique role.

Mark Smith was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Drayton Valley-Devon, on May 5, 2015.  He currently serves as deputy chair of the Standing Committee on Families and Communities.   Mr. Smith and his wife, Lisa, have three children: Joshua, Luke and Sarah.
