Hon Lori Sigurdson, Edmonton-Riverview

Father we bring Lori Sigurdson to you today. We ask that you grant her wisdom and strategies from Heaven has she fulfills her position as the Minister of Seniors and Housing. Father we ask that you grant her favour and blessing over her life, her family and her three sons. May you give her the strength to continue to be committed to the community services in her community. May she continue to be an outstanding citizen in her community and to those she comes in contact with on a daily basis. Bless all of Alberta and Albertans in Jesus name, Amen.

The Honourable Lori Sigurdson was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Edmonton-Riverview, on May 5, 2015. She currently serves as the Minister of Seniors and Housing, a position she has held since February 2, 2016. Prior to this, she served as Minister of Innovation and Advanced Education as well as Minister of Jobs, Skills, Training and Labour.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alberta as well as Bachelor and Master of Social Work Degrees from the University of Calgary.

MLA David Shepherd, Edmonton-Centre

Today we lift up MLA David Shepherd to You in prayer. Jesus -  we thank You for MLA Shepherd and ask that You would give him boldness and confidence as he chairs three separate committees. We thank You for his attention to detail and ask that You would use this gift in his life to better the governance of our province. We declare Your blessing and protection over MLA Shepherd today.

David Shepherd was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Edmonton-Centre, on May 5, 2015.  He currently serves as chair of the Standing Committee on Legislative Offices and the Select Special Auditor General Search Committee. He also serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Families and Communities. Mr. Shepherd leads an active lifestyle in Edmonton. He is an avid cyclist and has volunteered for the Edmonton Bike Coalition as a spokesperson and organizer. He also enjoys live music, film and playing the piano.

MLA Kim Schreiner, Red Deer - North

God today we have the privilege to pray for MLA Kim Schreiner. She is very active in both her career and volunteering in her children’s school. We ask for strength in the busy days as well as quality time with her family during quiet days. Bless her with good health and great Peace we pray, Amen.

Kim Schreiner was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Red Deer-North, on May 5, 2015.

She currently serves as deputy chair of the Standing Committee on the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund and as a member of the Special Standing Committee on Members’ Services and the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future. A mother of two, she is also an active school volunteer and a member of parent council.
