MLA Annie McKitrick, Sherwood Park

Father in heaven, today we thank You for MLA Annie McKitrick. We thank You for those that are benefiting from  both her gift of leadership and her strong desire to serve others. Today we recognize her ability to hear multiple opinions and then formulate a constructive conclusion – we ask that you would continue to sharpen this gift as she uses it to serve others.  We bless MLA Annie McKitrick today and declare Your protection over her and her family.

Annie McKitrick was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Sherwood Park on May 5, 2015. On October 17, 2017, she was sworn in as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Education.  She currently serves as a member of the standing committees on Private Bills, the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund and Families and Communities. She previously served as a member of the Standing Committee on Alberta's Economic Future.

MLA Ric McIver, Calgary-Hays

Jesus we pray for MLA Ric McIver today and ask Your blessing and love to be added to his day.  Grant him wisdom and discernment Lord as he needs it in his interactions. Thank you for his family - may they be kept safe and in good health we pray in Your Name, Amen.

Ric McIver was elected to his second term as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Calgary-Hays on May 5, 2015. He currently serves as a member of the Special Standing Committee on Members' Services.  He is married to Christine, the founder and CEO of the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta. Between them they have four children and two grandchildren, all living in Calgary.

Hon Margaret McCuaig-Boyd, Dunvegan-Central Peace-Notley

Father we ask that you would give the Honourable Margaret McCauig-Boyd wisdom as the Minister of Energy in Alberta. Give her the strategies from the throne room of Heaven. We bring her into your courtroom so that she may sit at your feet and record the strategies you have for the province of Alberta. Bless her, her family, and all the people of Alberta. Amen. 

Margaret McCuaig-Boyd was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Dunvegan-Central Peace-Notley on May 5, 2015. She was appointed to serve as Minister of Energy on May 24, 2015.  Ms. McCuaig-Boyd holds a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Alberta and a master's degree in administration and leadership from San Diego State University.
