Heavenly
Father, we are reminded that public service is always a challenging role and
that You command us to pray for those who serve and lead. We pray
today for Jon Carson and ask that You would empower and enable as he
gives himself to public service. Minister strength, wisdom and solutions
to the problems and challenges that he will encounter today. Grant him
all he needs as he serves his constituents and all the people of Alberta.
We ask this in Jesus Name, Amen.
Jon Carson was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Edmonton-Meadowlark, on May 5, 2015. Carson currently serves on the Standing Committee on Alberta's Economic Future and the Standing Committee on Privileges and Elections, Standing Orders and Printing.
Carson attended postsecondary studies at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, first attaining a diploma in radio and television broadcasting, then later returning for an electrical apprenticeship. Prior to the election Carson was employed as an electrician.
