Jesus,
thank you that You bring us gifts from different countries who are able to
bless ours through service and leadership. We pray today for Estefania Cortes-Vargas and ask You to bless her as she
serves as Caucus Whip and her constituents. We acknowledge that public
service is both a sacrifice and an arduous task but we pray that You would fill
her with wisdom, insight and the ability to find solutions to the difficult
challenges her constituents specifically and Albertans in general face on a day
to day basis. Bless her with answers, ideas and strategies that will be a
blessing to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Currently Member Cortes-Vargas serves as deputy chair of the Special Standing Committee on Members' Services. She was also a member of the Select Special Ethics and Accountability Committee.
She previously served a member of the Select Special Ethics and Accountability Committee.
On March 8, 2016, she was named government caucus whip, making her the youngest government whip in Alberta to date and most likely in Canada.
