Father
in Heaven we ask You to bless MLA Mr. Grant Hunter as he serves in our
legislature representing the people of Cardston – Taber – Warner. We are grateful for the experience he brings
to the position he holds and for past achievements. We pray Lord that You would direct his
thoughts and plans as he works with his colleagues. Refresh him with new strength as he carries
out his role. Amen.
Grant Hunter was elected as the Member of the Legislative
Assembly for Cardston-Taber-Warner on May 5, 2015. He currently serves as a
member of the Standing Committee on Alberta's Economic Future and the Standing
Committee on Public Accounts.
Mr. Hunter holds a bachelor of science degree from Brigham Young
University in Provo, Utah, and a master's degree from Northcentral University
in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
Prior to his election Mr. Hunter operated Hunter Construction, a
residential and commercial construction company. He has also worked in the
import and export business, in the media industry and as a former teacher in
Alberta.
Mr. Hunter has served as a board member for several political
and community organizations, including the Cardston Lions Club.
He resides in Cardston with his wife, Angie, and their five
children.
