MLA Bruce Hinkley, Wetaskiwin-Camrose

God, I love to read about MLA’s who care about young people, families, and community. Thank you so much for putting these into Bruce's heart. I thank you for all the rich experience he has, caring for young people and leading a wonderful organization at Big Brothers and Sisters. My prayer for him, is that he would never lose sight of this passion. You created him for this. Even when he feels the monotony of a daily grind, remind him of the heart behind why he does what he does.

Bruce Hinkley was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for Wetaskiwin-Camrose on May 5, 2015.
He currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Private Bills and the Standing Committee on Families and Communities.
Mr. Hinkley holds a master's degree in education from the University of Alberta and a bachelor of education degree from the University of Calgary.
He was a small-business owner and operator and a veteran educator with over 30 years of experience, both as a classroom teacher and as an administrator. Mr. Hinkley served as the executive director for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wetaskiwin from 1986 to 1991.  He and his family live in rural Wetaskiwin
