God
in Heaven, we are thankful for MLA Robyn Luff. Lord please surround her with
wise counsel so that the decisions made will yield a good harvest here in
Alberta for years to come. We pray that you would orchestrate opportunities for
Ms. Luff to involve herself in, that will benefit the people of her
constituency. Give her a voice which can be heard and we pray that her vision
would align with your purposes for her region of Calgary – East. May she be
aware of your presence with her as she serves. Amen
Robyn Luff was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly
for Calgary-East on May 5, 2015.
Ms. Luff serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Public
Accounts, the Standing Committee on Families and Communities and the Special
Standing Committee on Members' Services.
Prior to her election Ms. Luff was a teacher with the Calgary
board of education.
Ms. Luff earned a bachelor of science with a major in biology
from the University of Victoria and a bachelor of education (master of
teaching) from the University of Calgary. She also took part in Next Up, a
progressive leadership program for university alumni from all across Canada.
Ms. Luff was an active member of the Alberta Teachers'
Association and has also volunteered as an educator for a number of nature
conservation organizations in Calgary.
